The Kashmir valley at its gentlest: a houseboat and shikara ride on Dal Lake in Srinagar, the high meadows and gondola of Gulmarg, and the pine river-valley of Pahalgam. Warm hospitality and cool mountain air throughout.

Day 1
Day 1 — Arrive in Srinagar
Transfer to your houseboat; evening shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight houseboat.
Day 2
Day 2 — Srinagar sightseeing
Mughal gardens, Shankaracharya temple and the old city. Overnight Srinagar.
Day 3
Day 3 — Gulmarg day trip
Drive to Gulmarg for the gondola and meadow walks; return to Srinagar. Overnight Srinagar.
Day 4
Day 4 — Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam through saffron fields; evening by the Lidder river. Overnight Pahalgam.
Day 5
Day 5 — Pahalgam valleys
Betaab and Aru valleys (by local cab / pony), then return. Overnight Srinagar or Pahalgam.
Day 6
Day 6 — Departure
Transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
